ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
A microscopic scene, imagined at architectural scale
I spend a lot of time observing. Thousands of photographs, chasing light across fields barely 50mm wide.
At this scale, I’m not really looking at something small. I’m imagining it large. A fracture becomes a passage. A plane becomes a surface. A 25mm fragment becomes something I can almost enter.
I focus through the fractures rather than around them. Sometimes the light catches. It bends, reflects and separates into colour.
